Ahora sí estuve en primera fila para el anuncio de la noticia bomba de hoy: The Walt Disney Company compró a LUCASFILM LTD por 4 mil millones de dólares (o 4.05 billion dollars en su idioma).
Una parte fue en efectivo y otra en acciones de la compañía.

No sé ustedes, pero yo estoy emocionado con la noticia. Las opciones son infinitas y me da mucha confianza el hecho de que Disney se caracteriza por la calidad de sus películas.
Y en exclusiva les presento un fragmento del correo electrónico que hicieron llegar a los empleados de Disney (yo no lo soy, pero trabajo para una empresa que le renta sus servicios a una de sus subsidiarias), con la indicación de que se espera el Episodio 7 en las salas de cine para el 2015:

Una noticia que me ha tomado por sorpresa; tanot, que no he posteado hasta hoy, je. Es difícil imaginar cómo será el manejo de Lucas Film por parte de Disney. De entrada, te podría decir que estoy en contra; aún así, no me cierro a la posibilidad de que hagan un buen trabajo, por algo están donde están. Además, fue mayor mi rechazo cuando me enteré de que el grupo compraba Marvel y creo que no se ha visto una mayor afectación creativa. Tampoco creo que hagan peor trabajo de lo que hacía Lucas últimamente. Se nota que ya no quiere trabjaar y si tiene la oportunidad de aprovechar su bien ganado varo, pues que lo haga. Es un hecho que en Disney tienen gente capaz de hacer buenas movies aunque tal vez habrá que verlas como algo totalmente distinto, tal vez ya ni siquiera dirigidas a nuestra generación, si no a las más jóvenes. Falta tiempo para 2015, aunque no tanto. Para entonces sabremos cómo se traduce todo esto. Tal vez terminaron los scores de John Williams y no veremos más a Anthony Daniels como C3PO pero tal vez comience una nueva y buena era.
no es sorpresa esto, ya se veia venir, solo que da sentimientos encontrados, que star wars este en manos de una compañia tan ambivalente. (tuve la imagen mental de lizzie mcguire de padawan y hanna montana de aprendiz de sith) ugh... o thanos peleando con el emperador por el poder del lado oscuro. mejor no digamos nada y esperemos que a ver que pasa.
